Tuckers favorite summer activity.

The three amigos changed costumes to become the three pirates!

Sleeping on the plane. Such a good traveler.

Nursery! We went with a wild animal/safari like theme for Parker. Here are some pictures of her room:

Thanks to my awesome 5th grade team for the cutest hamper in the whole world!

Almost a family of four! Part 1

I am writing this blog as if it were before Parker arrived...it isn't though.  Before Parker arrived we had some prepping to do.  We were able to spend time with our parents here in Columbia and during June in Tacoma. Here are some pictures from our baby shower:

Best Friends!

Best friends and our moms!

Thank you Kristen & Alex for this super cute diaper cake!!

It's been FOREVER!

We have no been great about this blogging thing. To be honest I started baby books for both kiddos and that has taken any "free" time we've had! This past school year was a difficult one and the summer was filled with traveling and family time as we prepared for our little new addition.

Family Updates;
- Jordan is still a stay at home dad.  He also started coaching in the spring and is continuing that this fall.  With fantasy football season starting up, working as a small group leader at church, coaching and college football season starting, he has a very full plate!
- Me (Jamie), I am currently on maternity leave with just two weeks left.  I am in my fourth year of teaching 5th grade science and math but my 9th year of teaching! WOW! I sing on the worship team at church.
-Tucker is a ripe old age of 18 months! Boy has time flown by! He is obsessed with cars and has just realized in the past week that his little sister is here to stay.  He loves swimming and water as well as the zoo, especially aquariums.  He is a funny kid but has had a rough couple of weeks thanks to molars and canines cutting his gums...we hate teething! This, however, has not taken away from his wonderful ability to sleep and eat.  We have had some struggles with walking and are working with physical therapy to figure out how to get him a little more stead on his feet.
-Newest little Parker-we will blog about her next!!

Also-we are working on selling our house! With two little kiddos, we feel it would be nice to live around family and since we have no blood relatives here, Atlanta is the nearest choice.  We aren't moving now but may sometime in the future.

Catching Up Part 2..

Tucker turned one just two short months ago and I have no idea where all this time flies away to. I finished his 12 month slides. Still have birthday pictures (soooo many) to go through and not to mention all the thing we've been up to these last couple months.....

Tucker at 1 year...
loves loves loves to eat (peas, green beans & fruit are faves)
watches Jake and the Neverland Pirates (maybe because dad loves it so much...)
has learned to be Penny's best friend, especially by giving her all the food he doesn't like
rolls everywhere but refuses to walk or crawl
has 6 teeth, going on 8
would bathe all day if possible, he is part fish
is going to be an awesome big bro-he shares so well and hands off toys to everyone
loves to clap when everyone yells "YAY"

Catching Up...

Wow, we have been extremely busy and, well, blogging just isn't on the priority list! I finished adding music to T's slideshows and wanted to post them for family (and hopefully T when he is older!).

Guns or Roses?

We have reached our halfway point to meeting Baby Howe #2.  The exciting part-finding out if our little one is a girl or a boy! March 20th is the BIG day.  We both think boy (although how cute would it be for T to have a little sister?!).  T's vote is pictured below.  The nice thing about BH2 being a boy-we already have bedding picked out and a nursery theme...agreeing on a girl theme, ummm, still a problem.  Names- we have confidently picked our first name choices but as for middle names, we are still working on those.

Not sure Mommy!

Blue means brother!
This is T's guess!

Cheesin' for the camera.

So I guess the Howe Fam is thinking Boy...we shall see!
