We're Goin Home!

On Tuesday (Feb 19th) we were able to leave! Healthy, happy and anxious to get home.  How would we survive without all the nurses, doctors and hospital food? Weeeeellll...we are surviving and we are constantly learning...This parenting thing is not easy, but boy, it has been so rewarding.  We are so thankful to have our parents around to help especially to prepare us for being on our own...the adventure is just beginning :)

Time to take our wreath off our door...we are ready to go!
Dressing for warm weather...but adorable as ever!!!
We are in the car seat, I am feeling great (looking tired of course) and lets GET GOING!

Cutie Patootie

I can't imagine a more adorable model-thanks Auntie Lacey for the photo shoots! We are in love with this little guy!

Family & Friends

We were soon visited by family and friends. I apologize to Andrew and Alex because I don't have pictures of you yet...I think we have some, but organizing pictures-well that hasn't happened yet.

Thanks to all my family and friends for sharing this special day-I love you, Love Tucker!

February 17, 2013

Jordan and I had pretty much come to the realization that Tucker was coming on the 19th.  Our doctor had planned for me to be induced and we figured from family history that Tucker may just need a little push.

However....February 17th, 2013

12:45AM-I woke up and very quickly Jordan and I realized that our doctor would not be inducing us on Tuesday after all. My water had broken. I was super excited because I had hoped that my body, not my doctor, would determine when the little guy was to come. All of a sudden we panicked, what were we supposed to do when this happens? Oh yeah, call the doctor.  We called and they said, go to the hospital! Picking up our bags, grabbing our last few items and packing the cars, we and Tucker's four grandparents piled in.  Poor Penny and Kota, they stayed behind, little did they know that we would be returning a few days later with their new little buddy.

1:20 AM-We get to the hospital and check in on the 4th floor.

1:35 AM-12:00 PM-Monitor & Contraction Time! We were definitely filled with anticipation but very very tired. This became the waiting game. Family was able to hang with us and we rested a bit with a few check ins from nurses and doctors throughout the night.

12:00 PM-YAY! We made it!  For about the next 30 minutes we prepared for pushing and then it was time.  I will save you from these pictures-however, they are amazing and my sister-in-law captured this time beautifully.

1:36 PM -Tucker Scott Howe 9lbs 7oz and 21 inches!

HAPPILY EVER AFTER
