It's finally official!! Sorta...

Here we are again after a lovely trip to the doctor. This time we went downtown to the doctors' main office with the fancy ultrasound machine. Below are the images taken today, complete with some labeling of parts and other cute comments by the tech performing the ultrasound.

                               

We'll work on breaking these down and getting better, bigger pics up in the coming days; however, for now these will have to do!

Our tech was able to confirm a due date of February 13th, 2013! Yes, that's one more week Jamie will have to work after her maternity leave ends, but it's one week closer to being out of the first trimester as well!

Next ultrasound will be scheduled for 6-8 weeks from now and at that point we'll be able to find out the gender of the baby, so patience, everyone... Patience. Not a word that finds its way into my vocabulary very often, but from what people have told me it's a virtue I'm going to need.... In spades.

PS- Yes, we know our baby looks like an alien... I contend that's the Johnston side of the family coming out.
