Our First Thanksgiving.

Yeah...I have tried to keep my head afloat, but apparently I didn't make it.  Under the mound of "things to do" blogging was not on the top.  All I can say is, finally. Finally the list is short enough so I have a chance while T is napping. We have missed the 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 month slides-that are mainly for our enjoyment because you don't really need to see the numerous amount of adorable pictures we take on a nearly daily basis.  For our own digital scrapbook, we will be placing those slides up and if you want to, check it out.

I cannot express the blessings we feel daily as we spend time with our kiddo, pups and each other. November may be the time we really look at all these blessings and thank God, but having a kid has made me realize this on a more daily basis especially these last 9 months.

Thank you God for another first Thanksgiving. Our first Thanksgiving as parents. Thank you for the parents who have raised us to love You and given us a great example to follow. Thanks for the marriage that, through only You, holds us together as this journey of life continues. Most importantly, thank you for your Son, who saved us.

Our newest reason to be thankful:

Wardrobe $15

So I'm one of those coupon, deal finder, cheap and proud of it mommas.  Yes, I embarass Jordan in line sometimes because I get upset over forgetting a coupon that would have saved us $.50...it adds up people! Because Jordan will be staying home next year as I return to teaching, we have had to find ways to cut back our expenses.  We don't eat out often, no cable, paid off our cars quickly, use coupons, the usual stuff.  Well another way we save money is through consignments.  Once Upon A Child is my favorite place-ask my close friend and family...it is addicting, cute little boy clothes for cheap! Well, I wanted to take a minute to brag about my super find this weekend....

all of this....$15! I must say, their stuff-a-bag event was pretty awesome.  Strapped the little guy in my Ergo and off we went. It was crowded, but we survived and I think it definitely paid off :)

A Day At The Zoo.

Jordan and I are unashamedly using our son as an excuse to get a zoo pass....Jordan wanted one for Father's Day and I was definitely excited because I, too, would be benefiting from this! I really like our zoo here in Columbia, they have some pretty cool exhibits, like feeding the Giraffes and walking through the Kangaroo exhibit.  The pass also offers discounts or free passes to other zoos around the country.  So now, after forking out the member fee, when we can't think or agree on doing something, the Howe clan will be heading to the zoo! Here are some pictures of our first trip to the zoo on the zoo pass....

My Daddy Rocks!

HAPPY FIRST FATHER'S DAY!
Since Tucker and I were gone for Jordan's first real father's day (he knew he was a father last year but didn't know we were going to have a Tucker) we wanted to make it super special...so we put together a hunt!

It's Time to Rock and Roll....this was sent to daddy on Father's Day, from Washington State.

At the Rocking Chair....My favorite time with you daddy!
Bath Time! We both got some ZZZZs here when we were babies...

The cradle....Sometimes you hear me, sometimes you don't, but you can always see me! (kind of creepy)

Monitor!  Got spit up all over you? This will clean it up!

Washing Machine! My name isn't Luke but you remind me of Darth Vader when you wear this...

Sleep Apnea mask! So I put my hands up, they're playin my song....wait, I can't.

SWADDLES! These are the quietest animals EVER!

ZOOOOOO PAAAASSS!!

I LOVE DADDY

 MY (Jamie's) Dad:
I just wanted to take the time to say thanks to my dad who is the coolest, I love him so much! He is super dad in my book and although we live across the country from each other, I know he is always praying for me and thinking about me and my family.  I love you dad and I'm so thankful that we've been able to spend the past couple Father's Day Sundays together!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had the pleasure of spending Memorial Day weekend with five very special people...Auntie Lacey, Austin, Mia, Grandaddy and Great Grandma Nellie.

The weekend consisted of cornhole, grilling, Little Pigs and celebrating family time before Lacey and Austin leave for two months of Kenya.

With Grandaddy, Great Grandma Nellie and Daddy-4 generations!

Tucker's Travels....Part 5: Washington Continued

We went to the zoo, park, met cousins Sofi and River, dad came for part of the visit, met great grandma Leach and great grandpa Leach and great grandma J.  Also met Uncle JJ and Auntie Shannon.  We got to spend time with Ryan and Brenda, Inslee and little baby Quinn.  The trip to Oregon was exciting and yet another road trip in the Tucker Travels road trip book. We also saw many people at church (my church family growing up) which was so much fun.  Lastly, our time with family was wonderful.  We grilled with close family and friends, it was so special to see all of them. I miss my northwest, especially all of you at New Life, my friends and family.

Like Papa...he can sleep anywhere.

We missed father's day with daddy so we sent this picture!
